A Point in Time (PIT)
count is a single occupancy number for a parking zone or location at a
point in time. You may collect these field counts in your parking
operation and store them in a spreadsheet, maybe even a fancy one. You
might string the numbers together for trending or compare one count to
a previous count to see if things have changed over time.
We now have an Web app
for that! Your staff can enter counts in the field that are
automatically added to your Mistall Dashboard live. The more data you
collect the better it can help you.
You can also use the app
to update locations that have real-time counts, such as Mistall Zone
Counter. Or, use the app to count a location manually in
real-time.
The data that you enter
becomes part of your occupancy data and can be used with Mistall’s
built-in Business Intelligence data visualizations, parking guidance,
and directed enforcement.
