Mistall Ecosystem

The  Mistall Ecosystem is the collection of all your occupancy data in one place through integrations between systems, organized the way you want it.

Use Mistall as your data hub, you have more occupancy data than you think.  Starting with the Mistall Platform, you can add additional data from third-party occupancy sources in real-time.  With Mistall you get all your count data in one place with no-hassle, plug-and-play integrations.

Occupancy Inputs

  • Cameras
  • Paid Occupancy through mobile payments and pay stations
  • License Plate Recognition (LPR) solutions
  • Space Sensors
  • Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers
  • Parking Guidance Systems

Occupancy Outputs

  • Parking Guidance Systems
  • Parking Signage
  • mPark Guidance with Web, IVR, SMS
  • Mistall API

Adding more data sources means more comprehensive reporting across your entire parking operation.  This leads to occupancy intelligence, directed enforcement, and parking guidance.  More data in Mistall means a bigger occupancy and availability picture of your parking assets for a robust occupancy ecosystem.

Cameras

Mistall provides occupancy data into the Mistall Platform directly from our camera solutions Stall Counter and Zone Counter.  With Stall Counter you get image analytics counting cars from parking lot pictures.  With Zone Counter you track vehicles in parking facilities.

Camera Integration Partners:

Paid Occupancy

Mistall works with various Pay by Cell and Pay Station solutions to acquire real-time parking transaction data.  Paid Occupancy transactions can be pay-by-space, pay-and-display, or pay-by-plate.  Transaction data is automatically converted to occupancy data.

Occupancy accuracy increases as compliance increases.  Paid Occupancy has value to the parking organization when there is no other occupancy metrics for that location, and even more value when it can be compared with real occupancy.  When that happens, you can identify unpaid parking and direct enforcement where it is needed the most.

Paid Occupancy Integration Partners:

License Plate Recognition

Mistall receives real-time LPR transactions from both fixed-location LPR cameras and mobile LPR cameras.  This integration is a cost-effective way to increase the value of your LPR investment without adding more hardware.

  • Fixed-location LPR cameras are used primarily in garage or parking lot settings.  Mistall uses the entry and exit transactions to determine the occupancy of the facility in real-time.  License plate data can be stored (optional).
  • Mobile LPR cameras provide the GPS-location of vehicles based on license plate.  Mistall maps GPS-location to zones to track occupancy as the mobile vehicle collects plate reads in that area.  The area is counted automatically in the normal process of the mobile LPR’s enforcement purpose and solves for duplicate plates and time delays between reads.  License plate data can be stored (optional).
LPR Integration Partners:

Space Sensors

In-ground and on-ground sensors identify occupancy at the stall level.  Mistall retrieves this data into the Mistall Platform, and treats it as true occupancy, including dwell time, space turnover, and so forth.

You can categorize each sensor space as a space type.  You have the flexibility to calculate and show sensors in the Mistall Platform.  You can incorporate (or remove!) these spaces with an existing parking Lot or Zone, or even identify them in their own Lot or Zone.

Space Sensor Integration Partners:

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Parking organizations place a significant investment in the provision of EV spaces for their parkers.  With that growing investment the need for utilization metrics also grows.  EV chargers provide some metrics but may not be sufficient for parking guidance and enforcement.

Mistall’s Stall Counter solution identifies EV space occupancy and duration.  With the integration between Mistall and your EV software, you know if a vehicle is present but not plugged in, as well as when it’s plugged in and charging, or if charging is complete and the vehicle hasn’t moved.

Mistall notifications help direct your enforcement to EV spaces that are occupied without using the charger.

EV Charging Integration Partners:

Parking Guidance Systems

Mistall works with numerous parking industry counting and guidance solutions to share data based on customer needs.  Mistall can both send or receive occupancy information with these solutions.

Parking Guidance Systems Integration Partners:

Parking Signage

Mistall can share live occupancy or availability information with existing signs either directly or by providing data to the solutions that are driving the signs.  Sign systems can consist of availability inserts like monument signs or matrix displays providing dynamic messaging.

Signs can be grouped together to ensure that they are receiving the same data to display.  Signs require both power and an internet source, such as Ethernet, WiFi, or cellular.

Parking Signage Integration Partners:

Mistall mPark Guidance

Mistall shares live parking availability with your parkers through our mPark Guidance (mPark) suite of features.  You control which of your parking lots/zones that your parkers can see, and you can provide optional links to payment systems and Google Maps.  All Mistall data, regardless of source, can be shared for parking guidance.

Mistall API

Mistall provides a modern Application Programming Interface so parking organizations the can extract data for various purposes such as reporting and analytics, availability information to their own web pages or mobile applications, and more.  API access is available to all customers, along with documentation and sample code.

Mistall is a supporter of the Alliance for Parking Data Standards to ensure maximum compatibility with other parking systems.
