The Mistall Platform is the core of the Mistall technology suite. It’s a cloud-hosted, web-based application that provides a place to store and view all of your parking occupancy, both real-time and historical. It lets you visualize trends and make decisions based on parking occupancy.
Vehicle counts can come from Stall Counter, Zone Counter, and other data sources in your Mistall Ecosystem. The Mistall Platform works with any browser – Mac, PC, notebook, tablet, and smartphone.
The Mistall Platform acts as a vehicle occupancy aggregator. It’s scalable to collect occupancy data as small as a single stall, up to tens of thousands of parking spaces. The Platform allows a variety of functions that help the parking office manage their data, including:

Reporting and Business Intelligence
The Mistall Dashboard has built in charts, graphs, maps, and reporting to help you visualize your parking occupancy and trends. You can export data to CSV and Excel to build your own pivot tables.
Mistall tracks Key Performance Indicators of parking including real-time, average and peak occupancy, dwell-time, inventory turnover and transactions per day. It monitors stall-minutes parked for overall parking efficiency, and will even estimate your revenues based on true parking, not just payments.
Notifications and Directed Enforcement
Mistall Notifications automatically monitors the Platform to send alerts to parking staff. Notifications are alerts that are triggered based on certain rules or conditions that you configure. Notifications are in the form of a text message or email for individuals or groups. Notification conditions and rules are:
- Overtime Parking. If a vehicle stays too long then it’s flagged for notification. Time limits are configurable for different types of spaces based on the stall or location – EV, meters, loading zones, no-parking areas, and more. Multiple notification is supported (example: notification after 20 minutes overtime, another notification after 2 hours overtime).
- Directed Enforcement. Provide your parking enforcement with live counts of parking violations. Set thresholds for individual overtime parkers, or wait until the number of offenders is large enough to make enforcement worthwhile, and let Mistall guide your officers to where they can catch more offenders.
- Camera Alerts. Mistall will inform you when a camera or image is offline, or when a camera wakes up. It will also alert you to low-battery conditions with customizable settings.
- Lot Notifications. Set thresholds for occupancy notification by percentage full. Green, yellow, and red thresholds let you configure when notifications are triggered.
- Sign Alerts. Know when your signs are not responding by setting alerts on sign message consumption. Works with most sign hardware.
